Arthur Kent is a Canadian-born tv journalist and author. His most notable work includes his coverage of the events that occurred on June 4, 1989, in Tiananmen Square. This superbly researched and insightful read explores the real-life murder mystery of Spike Dubs, a US ambassador to Afghanistan in 1979.
As much as we have heard the phrase “Don’t judge a book by its cover”, we inevitably do. Working hand-in-hand with Full Blast Creative’s all-star design team, Arthur has created a thought-provoking, attention-grabbing book design. Our team worked closely with Arthur to ensure the cover conveyed the essence of the story. The 248-page murder investigation book went through three iterations. Our design team created the layout, design and meticulously refined every aspect of the hard and softcover versions of the book.
Moving into Ecommerce
Our marketing team collaborated with Arthur to expand his reach and move into eCommerce to sell his book direct to customers worldwide.
Using WooCommerce with the Stripe payment-gateway and eFulFillment Solutions, our team assembled Arthur’s online book sales system with real-time USPS shipping estimates and an easy check-out system for both domestic and international orders.

Its sleek and sophisticated design of a school “crest” and meaningful symbols gives the feeling of professionalism, authority, and distinction in the education industry. We gave their website a fresh new look to complement the new logo and to give them consistent branding throughout their online presence. We populated the pages of the new website with more content and key phrases to improve their SEO and ranking within Google.
We continue to add to the new and existing social media accounts with timely posts and educational information to add value to their online presence.
We also continue to optimize their paid marketing efforts by running ads that link people to a landing page to “learn more” about Nightingale’s Health Care Aide training program. Here we also monitor ad performance and conversions. We continually make changes in order to hone the paid marketing efforts to get the best results. Since we began our work with Nightingale, they have consistently recruited their target number of students for each monthly intake.
