Pinecone Pediatrics

Pinecone Pediatrics is a specialty practice that was established in Calgary in 2019 by a past elementary school teacher and a pediatric emergency physician. It is composed of Community Pediatricians and subspecialty trained Pediatricians dedicated to medical, mental health, minor injury, acute illness, behavioral, and developmental issues of children 0-18 years of age in Calgary and the surrounding areas. They specialize in providing medical and mental health services to children and help families meet their needs and goals for their children’s health and happiness.

The Opportunity

Pinecone Pediatrics reached out to Full Blast Creative seeking to build out an eye-catching and functional website - complete with a fresh logo and cohesive branding. Pinecone Pediatrics also required a professional photo shoot of their office so they could gather high-quality photo assets for their brand to use on their website, social media, and wherever else they may be needed.

Our Solutions

Starting with a logo design, we started on the website rebuild and simultaneous takeover of their email marketing.
From the build, our team at Full Blast Creative got the ball rolling on a better platform for Pinecone Pediatrics to communicate to, and learn from. After populating each page of the website with informational content, FBC also added additional web pages to increase their SEO efforts and ranking within Google. The web redesign also involved a photo and video shoot featuring their talented team. Following the build, we conducted WordPress training with the Pinecone Pediatrics team to ensure that they were well-equipped to manage their new and improved website.

      The Results

      Our team at Full Blast Creative designed a brand new custom logo for the Pinecone Pediatrics website that integrates their preferred colours, design language, and meaning for the brand of the clinic.
      This new logo now better reflects their brand image and voice and is a sleek representation of the Pinecone Pediatrics clinic.

      Using images of the material samples that their interior designer had provided them, we based site design elements on the physical materials (i.e. patterns, colours, and shapes) that were to be used in the construction of their new clinic.

      This gave their website and branding a more cohesive feel that adds to their feeling of professionalism.

      In addition to the technical development of the Pinecone site, Full Blast Creative also provided support with copywriting as well as editing and proofing existing website copy, graphic design, and branding. We also arranged on-site photography and videography, and web training for the pinecone team following the completion of their new website.

      By capturing photos and videos of the clinic, the Pinecone team members, and interactions between staff, patients, and the physical location, we were able to replace the majority of the stock image placeholders on the site with original images.

      Due to the Pinecone Pediatrics team’s busy schedules for work, family, and travel, this project was completed entirely through virtual meetings, from introduction to onboarding, design feedback, site review, and training. This enabled the timeline of the build to stay on track despite full calendars, and without the need for long commutes to meetings.
