Full Blast Creative’s Month in Review – February 2022

Full Blast Creative's Month in Review - February 2022

February may be the shortest month of the year, but that doesn't mean we were any less busy than usual at Full Blast Creative. We're already just over two months into 2022 and we have lots to show for it, including more website builds, video work, photoshoots, and print work. Here are just a few notable accomplishments from last month.

Drone take-off for Redhead Lifts

Full Blast Creative was given the amazing opportunity to gather drone footage for our clients at Redhead Lifts. We captured video of their flagship pumpjacks in action on the Alberta prairie to add to the new content sections on their website for their key service offerings. We also updated their website design for a fresh and modern look more appropriate for 2022!

A great new first impression at First Glance

We successfully launched one of our largest website builds for the year, the First Glance Aesthetic Clinic & Surgery Centre. The First Glance is one of Manitoba's leading plastic surgery centers so it was critical that their website showcased their prominence in the industry and provided high-quality content and resources to answer their patients' key questions. Their new website is now a better reflection of their stature in the aesthetics community and includes a fully integrated e-commerce shop for their skincare and beauty products.

Empowering great resources for EDI

We are so fortunate to have earned the GEDI-Hub contract for the design and development of the first provincial resource in Canada for workplace equity, diversity, and inclusion—the new GEDI-Hub website! From designing the brand to ensuring proper accessibility accommodations are present on the site, we made sure to cover all the bases. We look forward to continued work with our clients at GEDI-Hub and are excited to have a hand in more to come this year and beyond!

Assisting Indigenous initiatives

Our design team was kept busy this past month with a variety of print and digital projects for our clients at Saamis Employment & Training (SETA) and the Tsuut'ina Nation Police Service (TNPS). With a variety of posters promoting SETA's diverse initiatives and a brand new look for TNPS business cards, we worked closely with great local Calgary printing shops, including Little Rock and Alpha Digital. Thanks to everyone's hard work, we were able to deliver quality and cost-effective materials for our clients with a quick turnaround!

Creating accessible resources

We continue our work with CASE (Canadian Association for Supported Employment) this month by designing a new accessible, PDF-based "Diversity Checklist" resource for businesses that are evaluating their diversity and inclusivity practices when hiring new team members. We made sure to verify that these documents pass the appropriate accessibility checks so all have equal access to this valuable resource.

Kind words from a great client!

Our hearts are warmed after receiving another positive 5-star review, this time from our great post-secondary healthcare education client Clive McNichol, CEO and President of Nightingale Academy. Clive wrote:

"Full Blast Creative is an excellent organization to work with. Their ongoing customer support and skill in media development is the most professional I have encountered or been associated with in the past ten years. I highly recommend their organization to businesses looking for a professional, effective, and successful media-savvy company."

Product and portrait photoshoots

Full Blast Creative's photo and video department worked closely with our clients at Kirk Montoute Law to stage a new team photoshoot and to capture new individual head shots for each lawyer's profile. We also worked with the product team at Cinnzeo to photograph their cinnamon buns, twists, and specialty coffees!

In short, February was a busy and exciting month here at Full Blast Creative despite it being 10% shorter than most months. We are thrilled to continue helping our clients grow and evolve with top-tier marketing, and we are just as happy to watch our own team continue to improve and add to their marketing set of skills. Stay tuned to see what we come up with next and be sure to follow what we're doing @FullBlastCreative on Facebook, Linkedin, Instagram, and more!
